ZoomART Project Surpasses $26.3M in RWA-Backed Art Management and Launches Japanese Sword Tokenization to Establish a New Model for Cultural Heritage Preservation

ZoomART Foundation (Headquarters: Republic of Panama, Representative: Julia Martinez) has entered into a business partnership with between the arts (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Takatoshi Oshiro) to promote the new utilization of assets through RWA (Real World Asset) tokenization. As part of the ZoomART project’s efforts to create a new market for cultural asset RWA, the total value of tokenized assets managed through the collection asset management service “COLLET” has now exceeded 4 billion yen.

Furthermore, to establish a “new model for the future of cultural heritage preservation,” we are pleased to announce the launch of the RWA tokenization of Japanese swords.

About the RWA Tokenization of Japanese Swords

With the increasing challenges surrounding the preservation of Japan’s traditional culture and cultural heritage, ZoomART aims to tokenize Japanese swords as RWAs to enable sustainable cultural heritage preservation.

Japanese swords are not merely craftworks or collectors’ items; they are invaluable cultural assets that embody craftsmanship, history, and tradition. However, maintaining and restoring these swords requires significant financial resources, and many renowned swords are at risk of improper management, dissipation, or even overseas outflow.

To address this issue, our project leverages blockchain technology to visualize and distribute the value of Japanese swords as RWA tokens, facilitating fundraising for their sustainable preservation and succession. Additionally, by recording the provenance and historical background of each sword on the blockchain, we permanently inscribe its cultural significance.

All tokenized Japanese swords are managed under designated conditions specified by ZoomART and undergo regular maintenance.
